Tanya McNevin

Lawyer

Tanya M. McNevin received her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Windsor in 2010 and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2011. Prior to attending law school, Tanya worked for 10 years in the legal field and gained hands-on experience which, combined with her experience as a lawyer, allows her to give practical advice to her clients. Tanya also has court room experience and is an aggressive advocate for her clients when settlement is not possible. Tanya’s litigation practice focuses on providing effective representation of clients in litigation involving all facets of family law, including divorce, mobility issues, access, custody, property division and support. Tanya is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Essex Law Association. In 2013, she was appointed to the Superior Court of Justice Family Law Judicial Liaison Committee.

Thomas MacKay

Thomas MacKay is an experienced family lawyer who received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor in 2011. He is called to the bar in Ontario and has dedicated his legal career to helping clients navigate complex family law matters, including divorce and separation, child custody, child support, separation agreements, and prenuptial agreements. Known for innovative thinking and ability to resolve emotionally challenging issues, Thomas provides strong advocacy and practical, straightforward advice to his clients. His clients appreciate his compassionate and strategic approach. When he is not practicing law, Thomas enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering, including with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors and by playing Oboe in the Community Orchestra. He is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those around him and is committed to providing high-quality legal services to his clients.

Mary Fox

Former Partner

Mary M.S. Fox retired effective April 1, 2021 and is no longer a Partner at Fox McNevin MacKay LLP. Mary Fox was called to the Ontario Bar in 1978. She practiced family law with emphasis on financial issues involving business owners and professionals. Mary was a frequent organizer and panelist in continuing legal education programs on family law, professional practice and civil justice reform. She served on many professional organizations, community boards and committees. Mary was the recipient of recognitions and awards for leadership, professionalism, mentoring and volunteering. She received the Law Society Medal in May 2012. Mary was annually selected by “Lexpert” as a leading lawyer in Family Law. She was annually included in “The Best Lawyers in Canada” in Family Law. Mary was selected by “Best Lawyers” in 2013, 2017, and 2018 as a London/Windsor Family Law “Lawyer of the Year”..
