Tanya M. McNevin
Tanya M. McNevin received her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Windsor in 2010 and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2011. Prior to attending law school, Tanya worked for 10 years in the legal field and gained hands-on experience which, combined with her experience as a lawyer, allows her to give practical advice to her clients. Tanya also has court room experience and is an aggressive advocate for her clients when settlement is not possible. Tanya’s litigation practice focuses on providing effective representation of clients in litigation involving all facets of family law, including divorce, mobility issues, access, custody, property division and support. Tanya is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Essex Law Association. In 2013, she was appointed to the Superior Court of Justice Family Law Judicial Liaison Committee.
Thomas M. MacKay
Thomas MacKay was called to the bar in 2011, and received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor. Mr. MacKay practices all areas of family law including divorce and separation, child custody, child support, separation agreements, and pre-nuptial agreements. Known for innovative thinking and the ability to resolve complex and emotionally difficult matters, Mr. MacKay provides strong advocacy and practical, straightforward advice. Mr. MacKay received the J.W. Whiteside Award for outstanding service to the Faculty of Law, the legal community and the Community of Windsor in 2010. In 2008, Mr. MacKay received the Students’ Law Society Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Windsor Law Community. In 2007, he received a Citizen’s Citation for Bravery from Windsor Fire and Rescue Services.
Mary M.S. Fox
Mary M.S. Fox retired, effective April 1, 2021. Mary Fox was called to the Ontario Bar in 1978. She practiced family law with emphasis on financial issues involving business owners and professionals. Mary was a frequent organizer and panelist in continuing legal education programs on family law, professional practice and civil justice reform. She served on many professional organizations, community boards and committees. Mary was the recipient of recognitions and awards for leadership, professionalism, mentoring and volunteering. She received the Law Society Medal in May 2012. Mary was annually selected by “Lexpert” as a leading lawyer in Family Law. She was annually included in “The Best Lawyers in Canada” in Family Law. Mary was selected by “Best Lawyers” in 2013, 2017, and 2018 as a London/Windsor Family Law “Lawyer of the Year”.
