The Department of Justice recently put significant resources into the tools and information on the their website to coincide with the recently updated Divorce Act.
One of these resources is a really nifty Parenting Plan Tool that allows parents to enter their names, and preferences using check boxes and webforms to create a comprehensive parenting plan. Once completed the parenting plan is emailed to the parent in a format that can be incorporated into a separation agreement or other legal document. It is a way for parents to problem solve some of the issues that may arise relating to the parenting of the children.
The Parenting Plan Tool can be found at The Department of Justice Website. Note, none of the information on the website is legal advice. To obtain legal advice regarding the specific facts in your case, you should speak to a lawyer with knowledge about parenting plans and child custody disputes.
